I purchased a small for me and an XL for my husband for a snorkel trip. It worked excellent for me. I could stop and adjust my mask without needing to tread water. It was nicer than a vest pushing up under my chin. I’m 5′5 and 125 pounds. Also, it worked best to wear the buckle in front otherwise it was too much floation for being face down in the water.
My husband, who is not a swimmer, tried it out in the pool and it was not enough to support him for adjusting mask. It however did work very well for him snorkeling around the pool. We had him try both mine and his and that was enough flotation but then a little ackward with 2 on. He is 6′ 245 lbs. He didn’t end up snorkeling. May try a vest for him next time.

I’am no marathon runner, just trying to get back to running like back in my cross country/track high school days. It’s sooooo easy to use. I bought the 305/405 and immediately returned it because it was entirely too hard to figure out how to use. With the 110 you charge it, create your profile (weight, age, sex) go outside and let it sink with the satellites…then press start. It’s that simple. If you get the one with the heart rate monitor, it gives you calories burned, and heart rate. I see people in here griping about something regarding the “pace”. I don’t know..it displays the pace you are going at, so i’m not too sure what that is all about. You sync it with the garmin website, and it give you greater “in depth” information about your run.

Just remember that this isn’t suppose to have all the bells and whistle the other running watches have. This is for just simple use; distance, pace, calories, heart rate, time. This will suffice most people, and definitely extremely user friendly.

Not really much to say, except they are great. I had bought similar Merrills several years ago when searching for “easy-on, easy-off” shoes for airline travel. I wanted the same ease of use this time, but was looking for a leather upper that was a little more formal looking. Bought similar shoes of another brand at a shoe store a year ago, assured they would “wear in”. They never did get comfortable and are on their way to Goodwill.
